The Happy Elf

From one Elf to another I want to tell Hailey how proud I am of her. I realize that she may not be turning double plays yet but she can sure shake it on stage with the best of them. She had her dance recital tonight and was awesome. Here are some pictures of the evening events.

Busy Body

This morning we went outside for the usual Saturday yard chores (fun fun). Kennedy and I usually don't go outside because I end up just chasing her around instead of actually helping out and this morning wasn't any different but I decided to grab the camera and actually managed to get some cute shots of our little busy body. Sitting on her bike only entertained her for about 30 seconds before she was off to mess up the leaves that Hailey was raking. Then she was off climing on to the porch to check out the pumpkins before she ran back across the yard and into the street (if I had let her). Then she pushed the lawn mower for all of 15 seconds before she found Hailey's bike helmet which actually captured her attention a little longer. By the end of our yard chore adventure I'm not sure who was more tired, Brandon who had cleaned up all of the flower beds and raked leaves or me from chasing Kennedy!

Happy 4th Birthday, Hailey!

So this is a little overdue. I've been so bad at blogging lately! Too many things to do and not enough time. So Hailey's birthday was back at the beginning of September...September 5th to be exact. Like I said, this is way overdue but I thought I would still post a few pictures. Oh, and to top off her big day, Brandon fell off of a ladder and landed on her brand new princess bike, only hours old! Thankfully he had only scrapes and bruises but he felt so bad that he ruined Hailey's new bike that he took her back to Toys R' Us that night to pick out a new one. Notice at the beginning of the slide show she's riding the princess bike and at the end she's on the new barbie "replacement" bike.

Despite the accident, she still managed to have a fun filled birthday that included a birthday dinner at Spaghetti Factory and a Build-A-Bear party with her cousins. Happy Late Birthday, Hailey!
