So this is a little overdue. I've been so bad at blogging lately! Too many things to do and not enough time. So Hailey's birthday was back at the beginning of September...September 5th to be exact. Like I said, this is way overdue but I thought I would still post a few pictures. Oh, and to top off her big day, Brandon fell off of a ladder and landed on her brand new princess bike, only hours old! Thankfully he had only scrapes and bruises but he felt so bad that he ruined Hailey's new bike that he took her back to Toys R' Us that night to pick out a new one. Notice at the beginning of the slide show she's riding the princess bike and at the end she's on the new barbie "replacement" bike.
Despite the accident, she still managed to have a fun filled birthday that included a birthday dinner at Spaghetti Factory and a Build-A-Bear party with her cousins. Happy Late Birthday, Hailey!

Aqua Globes!
Okay, so I've been meaning to post about this for a while and am now just getting around to it. As everyone knows by now, my birthday was a few weeks ago and in trying to decide what to get me, Brandon asked Hailey what she thought. She immediately replied, "Aqua Globes!". She's so funny...one Saturday morning she was watching the Strawberry Shortcake cartoon and loved it so I decided to record it for her and has since watched it a thousand times. The episode just happens to have an Aqua Globes commercial in the middle of it and every time it comes on she asks me what color I want, "Red, Blue, Green or Multicolor". It's so funny, she has the whole thing memorized and would be a great sales rep for the company! So, on my birthday she handed me an envelope and was so excited for me to open it. Inside was a certificate for my Aqua Globes (it took 2-3 weeks to ship). They arrived last week and of course we had to open them and put them to use immediately. And I have to say, they are fabulous! I am the first to admit that I am horrible at remembering to water my 3 plants so now instead of continuously bringing them back from the dead, I can keep them constantly watered with my Aqua Globes! Thank you for the thoughtful gift, Hailey! :-)
You too can be the proud owner of a set of Aqua Globes.

The Tent Club
The Tent Club - Members Only. After seeing the movie, "Kit Kettridge, An American Girl", Hailey decided that she wanted to have a club of her own so one day a few weeks ago her cousin, Emma, came over to play and they made up the Tent Club. They were so cute playing in the tent, they drug all sorts of "friends" outside to play in the tent with them. I was asked to serve them snacks but was not allowed to come in. :-(

Rocky Point, Mexico
This post is a little late but as Brandon says, "Always late but worth the wait". At the end of June we took a "Mommy & Daddy trip" down to Phoenix to meet up with our good friends Ben & Julie and then headed for the border! We drove from Phoenix 3 1/2 hours to Rocky Point in Sonora Mexico on the Sea of Cortez/Gulf of California. We had a blast just switching back and forth from the beach to the pool, pool to the beach. It was a ROUGH trip! It was so nice to just relax, eat good food, have some good laughs & get some sun...all with great company! Thanks for the unforgettable weekend Ben & Julie, we already miss you guys!!
